It is situated in a quiet and secluded area yet it is only a couple of minutes walk from the panoramic Qawra and Bugibba promenade, the popular entertainment facilities and the public transport stops taking you to most parts of the island.
The area is also well known as the "touristy" area of Malta due to the many bars which show British football. Summer temperatures can be as hot as 40 degrees celsius, with an average of over 30 degrees. Casinos, bars, and clubs are also a major part of this small town. Qawra is also home to many nightclubs and bars. It is just 17.60 kilometres away from Valletta.
